I don't know to what you are exactly speaking, but so long as you are spraying into the intake, I don't see why it would matter what method you use. As far as the Venom is concerned spray is spray though you might see better results.

I've seen wet kits with the plate system but have yet to see a Venom 1000 use it. As Blake said you may see better results I know ppl have gotten better results due to the plate on wet kits. But other than that spray is spray.

in the upcoming month i plan on purchasing the venom 1000 and i plan on using the plate style nitrous distributor. only because i think itll spread the nitrous more evenly and further help in the fight against detonation. this is y i asked...thanx guys

I don't see how that will hurt.

BTW, I have a complete Venom-1000 system for sale off my car if you are interested. I have it posted in classifieds.

Dont try to use it that way. Dont ever "piece together a nitrous system". Not to be rude but..... why are you trying to use the Venom 1000? The NX Plate is only made for a wet system.

I hope your not talking about sticking a Nozzle into the side of an intake spacer....LOL. BOOM!

You just need to buy the NX wet kit with all the safety stuff. If you dont want to do that, then just stick with the Venom Nozzles.

Its hard to explain but ill try....

The NX Plate has 2 Bars on it. One for fuel and one for nitrous. Each bar has holes in them called "orfices". These orfices are directed towards specific cylinders. When the nitrous is coming out of the orfice though it doesnt spray directly at the intake port. When the fuel hits the nitrous that is coming off the bar, it directs the entire stream towards the intake port. Thats what distribution is. Now, If you plug up the fuel bar and try to use just the nitrous bar... its not gonna spray right into the intake port like the plate is designed to do. Its gonna be spraying into the side of the port walls and it would be much more likely to backfire. Im sure you could make a few passes with it or even spray for a little while, but itll never be as efficient as it should be. Probably will have a crazy A/F ratio until you get to higher RPM's.

You really should just make it a wet kit. Just put a window switch on it. Those things are so cool cause you wont have to worry about a backfire and its alot easier to drive. Plus you dont have to mess with injectors.

Did you read my above post #8? Thats why you really shouldnt use the NX plate with the venom kit. Im sure it will work but what we dont know is.....how well it will work. You can get the plate for like $200. Then just use your Venom nitrous supply line. buy 2 NX Mainline solenoids for cheap. Buy 2 short lines and your done.

If they are stuck open at the wrong time then itll blow the engine. But they rarely ever get stuck open. Also it really wouldnt matter whether it was a plate style or not.

Your not one of those "WHat If....." Scary types are you?

Yea that would work but the problem is that there are no dry plates. So its either you can use the dry nozzle or just get a whole new wet kit.

I say you should trash the dry setup.

Default dry = no boom

No dry plates??? - why the hell not - whats the difference from intake tube to throttle body? still going to the same freakin place... i need to investigate - but to answer your question dry shots don't pool and go boom - thats y I want a dry - then just change the delivery system for when u go s/c or as I want to go TT
