Venom VCN-1000
#3
well I was asking because on venoms site there are quite a few different computer modules for this system and I wanted to be sure that the carried the one with the N49-208 computer and not just the N49-214 Which is not compatible with the 1998 mustang gt. So there is no need for the smart a$$ response.

It was not meant to be a smart response i was just telling you everything that you need to hook the venom up to, i forgot the tps Throttle position sensor, need to hook up to one of those wires, venom will send you instructions special for your car and will tell you which wires to splice, venom really has nothing to do with your cars computer

sorry about that i was just mad because some one at work pissed me off. but what im trying to say is they say they have different nitrous controllers for diff years look at the link under 1998 it says N49-208 for the non programmable system(vcn-1000 not 2000)and if you look below that at the 99-00 it says N49-214 for those years. im just trying to figure out if MT carries the system with the N49-208 nitrous computer. cuz i mailed venom and they said get sys with N49-208. but i dunno :wallbash:

Each year has a model number if I recalll, but I could be wrong. The Venom-2000 is a programable system that is more taylored to each year. IMO, go with the 1000 and not the 2000. The 2000 is too complicated and in the early stages, they had problems getting it to work correctly on the Mustang.
Dont get me worng. They may have it figured out by now. The main difference is that with the 1000, the nitrous is only on at WOT. With the 2000, the amount of spray depends on the TPS signal. So, you get partial spray at partial throttle.
