Wet nitrous - dumb question about nozzles
I'm looking at a number of wet systems for my 07 GT, and i'm put off a bit by the way the nozzles fit into the air intake before the TB. It seems a bit....rigged if you know what I mean. First of all, i'm worried about securely fixing the nozzles through my steeda CAI tube. I'm also a bit puzzled....does the fuel solenoid spray *all* the fuel needed by tapping into the fuel rail, or does it just steal *some* of the necessary fuel? If the former, then does that effectively mean my car will no longer be fuel injected? (sorry, told you it was a dumb question).
Thanks in advance.

I wouldn't worry about tapping into your Steeda CAI for the injetor. Most late model cars use this method with very good results. The only time a direct port kit is needed is when you plan to run a big shot. For the fuel it taps into the fuel line only for the amount of fuel that is needed to support the nitrous and this is controlled by pills. Your fuel injectors will run the same with or without the nitrous. I hope this answers your questions.

A nozzle setup is totally fine and is not a "rigged" way to install a nitrous kit. Its how its done on EFI vehicles. Using a wet kit, and you should use a wet kit, does take some fuel from the fuel rails but the fuel pump will see a drop in pressure and crank up the fuel pump for more flow.
Basically a wet kit is the way to go, and a nozzle setup is how its done unless you spray a lot of nitrous.

Right, and that was why I asked....something that mixes fuel and air (or N2O) and squirts it into the intake sounded like...well, a carb' :-D

They do sell a plate kit for the 3v cars too, if you really must have a plate setup over a Nozzle setup. Its much more expensive then a regular fogger nozzle however.
