a kenne bell is to expensive.....but we were wonderin what are some other good kits for his truck....we found a powerdyne...but i havnt heard much bout that company...

I don't think they made a supercharged harley f150 in 04. Wasn't that when they changed it up and made the f250's harley editions? I could be wrong though. The 04 may be able to use the 03 but i'm not too sure.

 

It is going to be difficult but not impossible. Whipple makes em but they cost a pretty big dime. Procharger, Vortech, Paxton, Kenne Bell. Are all the safe guess' all you need to do is call them direct find out what they have available, then when you have all the info call a dealer and order the kit.

 

Anything is possible but why??

It's still heavy as hell and get's bad gas mileage already.I just don't see the pro's of doing it!!

 

IMO, like lance said, you and your dad need to find an older mustang to play with. There is no point in wasting money on an expedition thats just going to be just as slow.

 

its really not that slow as it is.....we out accel most other cars in the area as it already is.....but we still want to charge it.....lol....

 

i would highyl reomend a ATI procharger kit for that truck you would be amazed the kinda power it would put out. also this is the wrong section.

some people were saying that its is slow....ill tell ya its a lot faster than a 6er stang......im not saying its a sports car....

my mom has that same expedition all stock and the only time it would ever go quicker than my 6er is if we were going up a SUPER steep hill. Expeditions are slow you need to face it.

Now if you want to tow something to the river and bring your whole family AND a whole crapload of camping gear, an expedition is perfect.

 

the 2004 has the 3v 5.4. you cant use that 2v 5.4 blower found in 97-03 ones.

 

a blown expedition is a FUN truck. Use a centrifugal you'll like it and the performance is great.

Vortech's kit for the Expedition is KILLER and reasonably priced. Expedition has a 5.4L and I would HIGHLY recommend building the shortblock if you're going to supercharge it. If you don't, someday there will certainly be half a rod sticking out the side.

 

im not sure bout the 05+ sixers....i was talking bout the 04 and lower....my mom has a 04 6er.....srry to offend u!!!! lol

 

no i wasn't offended at all . . . i probably should have realized that having an 06 makes me in the minority of sixers, and since i've never really driven an old six, i have no basis for comparison. are the 04 and unders really that slow?

the new ones have a few more hp and have higher gears....so i think they are quite a bit faster...
today we were on the highway in the expedtion and a ricer tried to cut us off....my dad steps on it....lol
at 70 mph its only at bout 2k rpm.....
they gave us a real dirty look.....
