Law abiding US citizens bought on average 3,177,256 guns every 3 months in 2008.
EveryTown, USA - -(AmmoLand.com)- In just 3 months Americans bought enough guns to outfit the entire Chinese and Indian army’s combined.

You also bought 1,529,635,000 rounds of ammunition in just the month of December 2008. Yeah that is right, that is Billion with a “B”. This number takes no accounting of reloading or reloaded ammunition.
This is an evaluation of overall firearms and ammunition purchases based on low end numbers per Federal NIC instacheck data base Statistics. The numbers presented are only PART of the overall numbers of arms and ammunition that have been sold. The actual numbers are much higher.

I think people purchased a ton of guns and ammo cause there is a good chance the dems will started taxing them like they do cigs....with the hope people will just stop buying the products cause they are too expensive. I don't know if that's true, just my opinion. I have no issue with people owning guns, it's the ******** that live in places like Oakland who do nothing but use guns to kill innocent people that clouds it all.
I'm not sure Obama will touch the gun issue right now cause the last thing he wants to do is split his own party right now when he needs every vote possible for everything he is trying to do.

here where i live you cannot even find ammo anymore. ive been having trouble finding certain ****, especially shotgun rounds. everyone is buying as much as they can. If you do come across a box or two of ammo buy that **** immediatly. at least in texas anyway

r3dn3ck edited my post to keep me out of Federal PMITA prison. just for everyones information, filing off serial numbers is a federal offense and likely to end up with you getting shot during the standoff and Uzi is spelled with 1 z, not 2.

Just picked up a new toy BTW... number 160-something. My dad found it in a pawn shop in oregon. Browning BLR in .270 with a nice Leupold on top. Picked it up for <300 bucks. I'll pick that up some time this summer. Gunna use that for deer season this year.
