No, it doesn't say anything about McCain. I think that is mostly due to the public's fear that McCain would be 'another Bush', like some of the Obama ads and the media suggested. Like someone else said, some republicans swung their vote this time around, because the disapproval of Bush is so damn high.

And they foresee McCain as being the same as Bush. And regarding your other statement, Bush has vetoed many things. No I don't have what off hand, but there are plenty of things Bush has vetoed

+1. How the media and lefties banned together to make Bush out to be the evil arch-enemy.

You know, 'cause Bush single handedly put this country in debt. (Not that Clinton had ANYTHING to do with that....) Not to Mention Fannie/Freddie, Credit companies that gave financing to people they knew couldn't pay for it. All of the pork barrel spending done by greedy politicians (like Obama.)

Because Bush hasn't kept America safe for 7 years from Terrorist attacks like 9/11, and because we haven't helped to liberate countries and give them the chance at freedom from communist dictators, forget all of that. For that matter, there was never even a war, we just went over there for a little vacation and to target practice on those poor, innocent people that killed thousands of American citizens.

Just drink the kool-aid, it was alllllll Bush.

Now I'll be real clear I don't like Bush and it's for a similar reason to why most of the uninformed America doesn't like him.

They think he caused everything that is wrong with this country. They are wrong

I don't like him because he was the one person that could stop some of what is wrong with this country and he stepped aside to let the democrat party do their thing

Now no one will be there to step aside (or stand in their way) because he will be leading them now

may God have mercy on us all

I don't recall Iraq citizens asking us to "liberate" them. I also didn't realize we were the world police and responsible for overthrowing every government that doesn't do exactly what we want them to do.

Please, you guy act like the world is over......relax, if the dems and president obama screw up in the next 4 years they will be out of there. The public wants change, and if that change isn't in the direction of the majority of people in this country they will be voted out....except for Pelosi, she'll be there forever.....unfortunately.

So rather than liberate them, what should we have done? Left them to be dictated, murdered? Should we not have reacted when terrorists killed thousands of Americans on our own soil? This is America, the land of the free and if given the opportunity to help liberate a nation from tyrants we should step in at every feesible opportunity.

No, I'm just sick and tired of liberal scum bags disrespecting their president. Do I think that Bush has been the best preisdent he could have been? No. But I do think that he has done a MUCH better job than either Kerry or Gore could have ever imagined to do if put in the same situations.

I do not agree with much of anything that Obama has to say or what he represents, but once he takes the oath of office I will respect him just like any other president. While I most likely won't agree with him on a vast majority of things, I will not watch SNL, TBS, etc. to see if they blast him on National Television.

This country is in serious need of humility, you should all learn to respect your president and one another rather than do your best to publicly humiliate the man that is the leader of the free world.

So if it's our job to liberate, what about all the genocide that is going on in Africa? If it's our DUTY to liberate, then what about Darfur? There is NO LINK between Iraq and what happaned on Sept 11, even people is the Bush Admin said that. I have no issue with Afghanistan, we should have all of our resources there rather than Iraq.

Well now you are getting into hypotheticals.....we don't know how they would have reacted....will never know.

Are you kidding me? You don't think his Country isn't facing humility?

LOL LOL LOL LOL......you make me laugh dude. You threw out more absolute BS against Obama than anyone I've ever seen and now you are saying everyone should just play nice and respect that man that you did everything possible belittle and disrespect? Ok, I'll take your word for it, but I'm going to keep your previous post for futrure reference.

Can a mod close this? This is a non-productive not to mention completely pointless bitch-fight about something that is done and over and we no longer have control of.

He was and is not the president yet, Once he is sworn into office he deserves the same amount of respect that you should have for Bush at the present moment.

LOL...ok, never said you couldn't, and believe it or not I agree with you once and a while.....Below is your quote, just to refresh your memory.

I think prop 8 is stupid. If two people of the same sex want to get married or live together and whatever then who are we to stop it. Why should we have laws based on what is written in a book that not everyone follows? Just because someone wrote in the bible that marriage is between a man and a woman doesn't mean everyone has to follow it. Anyways, peopel are going to argue no matter who's in office or what's going on. Bush might not have been the only cause to this crappy economy, but he sure hasn't helped it any. If Obama sucks, then he'll be out. Same could have been said for McCain, if he did a crappy job you guys would be complaining about him.

sorry, typed to fast and didn't make any sense. I'll fix it.

In my opinion I don't care if gay people want to get married. Prop 8 wasn't asking for special rights, just equal rights. So how is their argument any different than interracial marriage being illegal back in some states until the late 60's, or black people not being able to vote, or women not being able to vote? People that were for Prop 8 are essentially saying all man isn't created equal and we should only allow certain people full rights as a citizen of this country.

Trust me, I don't want to see two dudes kissing or anything like that (can't say the same for two hot chicks), but to me it's not about what they do behind close doors, it's about equal rights. The bible thumpers scared the jesus into people on Prop 8. There was funding pooring in from all over the country to defeat Prop 8. cause people know that once Cali does it the rest of the country will try to follow. I'm sure it will be on the ballot next year

This is a note one of my friends posted on FB (she's black, obviously)
Why? Why do you have to be like that? You will never understand my joy and what this means to me as an African-American until you are one. You don't know what it's like to walk into ANYTHING and automatically feel as though you're at a disadvantage. You don't know my level of discomfort if I encounter a group of people wearing Confederate parapheralia because I don't know whether they hate me or not. I live my life on the fence: parts of the black community thinks I'm too "white" and the white community sees me as "too black," and yet, I still keep my head high, call myself black, and work hard to change the stereotypes. You don't understand how I grew up being taught the names, stories, and legacies of the people that paved the way so that Barack Obama could be where he is today. You don't understand how hurtful it is to hear people say they weren't voting for him because he was black. You can also never understand the strength I have flowing through my veins, and the pride that overwhelmed my spirit when I found out the results. I know I might not truly be seen and feel equal in my lifetime, and I have embraced that, and I guess it should not catch me off guard that people are infuriated that a black man will be running the country. I was naive enough to think that maybe this would be the end of this all, but I'm prepared now. This is the moment I've been waiting for, and I, along with the entire black community, will wrap President Obama in a protective blanket. We are armed with the shield of the Lord and the fighting and determined spirit of our ancestors. If you want to join us, then by all means, join! But those with hateful, racist feelings will not phase us. I know this was the will of God, and I can only speak for myself, but I'm willing to fight for it.
So it pretty much looks like race is the ONLY thing that matters to her. "You don't know what it's like to be at a disadvantage"? ???? LOL, who the **** are you kidding, as if black people are the only ones disadvantaged in life. **** like this really annoys me. I should make a comment to her how I can't do half the jobs that black people can do because of my color deficiency rofl.
