Talking Ready for boost

Wasn't planning on doing this until next year but found a decent kit at a good price and didn't want to pass it up. It's a P1SC w/3 core intercooler. I still need to pick up a fuel pump and some bits and pieces from procharger which I ordered today. The only piece it's missing is the inlet tube and filter which I'm going to hopefully find used or I'll probably be getting a power pipe. The pipes were a bit dirty so I cleaned them up and painted them satin black. Not looking to get crazy just aiming for 380 to the wheels with the 8psi pulley...maybe more if I go with a power pipe.

i recommend superchargers online for all the parts that are missing...I would use the procharger install instructions as a reference for whats missing.

Either way enjoy the boost!

yeah my buddy just installed the same kit and he had them send a installation manual for his so that's how we determined what mounting hardware was needed. Found it on craigslist for 2200. You can generally find them there around 2k...and something I just found out is that you can search all craigslist at once by typing this in google...mustang procharger site:craigslist.org

Purdy bad ***, but for those 3 things, that seems a little expensive to me. But then again I don't know much. LoL

+1. They have fast shipping and very easy to work with. Congrats man, you'll love it. Install isn't too bad either.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to say the least. Just ordered my fuel pump, spark plugs and a new belt. Only thing left is an xcal 3 and to figure out what I'm doing for the inlet pipe and filter.

We are pretty close to finishing up the install. My buddy and I did the injectors, spark plugs and all the intercooler piping tonight. Found a guy on a local mustang board selling a procharger inlet pipe with filter...picked that up for $35! All that's left is to clean up the filter, install the inlet pipe, run some vacuum hose, hook up the bypass recirculation hose and tie up some odds and ends. My xcal 3 is coming on Monday so I should be able to get this thing tuned sometime this week!

Snapped a quick pic with the cell...

ha, didn't even pay that close attention...I think it looks so big because of the angle of the shot! Once I get it tuned I'll post up my numbers. Can't wait!

That would be sweet wouldn't it? I think I would be making more boost if it were a D1. I'm only making about 7.5 psi with the 3.85 pulley. Before I bought the kit I called procharger with the serial number and they said it was a P1. It could have been converted I guess but I still think I would have made more boost.
