Lost the hood

Default Lost the hood

dont know how it happened, but the fiberglass split and the hood just flew up. The window is done, the roof is caved in, and the hinges are bent. Hope they dont consider it totaled or alllll the work i just did will go to waste.

sick burn. Hope everything comes out ok. How bad is the roof?

I'd call the damage at 4-5K. They won't total it.

ive taken my cervini cobra R hood 150+ on the autobahn and i was freaking out because i thought the hood would fly off at any moment. i really need to put the pins in...

that shitty dude hope your car gets fixed.

yeah its just my luck that keeps going. I just paid 900 to get the trans fixed when it wasnt even the trans it was a faulty weld on the torque converter that had to be reweld. We'll see tomorrow what the insurance company says.

Hood pins are a must on any non-metal hood except the factory hood.

i still havent put the aero-latches on my replacement CF hood, honestly i get nervous driving on the highway. always afraid it is gonna go flying off.
