wow cheddar... thanks for the rip hehehe. Can't appreciate that (hopefully) typo enough.

I don't like the wing either but it really calms down the ride at freeway speeds. The suspension is set up closer to light race duty than street so it's rough as hell on uneven pavement. The wing cools that right out above about 80mph and it gives me all kinds of room to set stuff on the trunk lid

When I finally put the rear diffuser on I think that'll balance the look of the back end a bit better and make the wing look less ricey.

Considering the amount of time and money in real race grade parts I think 1 piece of rice is ok.

stands 11" off the deck and has a MEAN lip on it. You can tell it's working anytime I drive on a wet road.. all the spray you normally see from cars with tires as wide as mine is channeled by the wing into a stream about 3ft wide x 2ft tall that's a solid 3.5ft off the ground. basically... it buries anyone within a hundred yards of my bumper with MASSIVE spray aimed directly at their windshield. Stopped the tailgater-in-the-rain problem dead in its tracks.

i want to get the 00 cobra R hood and wing for my car and then i think my exterior will be complete. I like his wing makes his car stand out from the rest.

the wing looks good i think. At least red didnt leave the brushed aluminum on the sides of the wing, they look better painted imo.

The different between a rice wing and reds is that reds actually works. There is nothing on that wing that is for show.

IMO it all has to do with what color your car is and how everything flows together. Not to many people can pull it off

ryan... you're entitled to your opinion. it's one of those love it or hate it things.. not a lot of middle ground.

thanks to everyone for the positive comments. I'm almost finally finished with the modding. I can almost taste the pure driving enjoyment and not having to deal with all the expense to mod it. I like to think of it as my own private interpretation of an R.

As you said, its a love it or hate it thing. I hate it on any car that is not a direct cobra R replica car. I don't know what it is about it, rest of the car looks good though.

nope.. motor sitting on a pallet. It's supposed to go in this month. We'll see. All the shops around here want 2000 fuggin bucks to install it. I've contracted my infamous neighbor to do it but my car getting in relies on his schedule and the weather. If it's too hot we just can't be standing outside all day.
