Whoring her out, whats she worth?
So, as you all know i got a kid in the working, with costs of Mortgage, 2 kids, daycare, etc, etc i may try selling my Mustang.
Dont worry though, i would turn right around and buy another mustang. I would probably shop around for a real nice low miles Mustang 5.0. Knock my loan payments and insurance down and have about an extra $300-$400 per month
Do you think i could get $20,000k by selling to a private party? What is the highest i could realistically expect to get for her?
Forget bluebook, im wondering what i could actually get.

i dunno, i might have to start dumping more money into the payments and getting the principle down on the loan.

Refinance and pay off your car with your mortgage for a new 40 year loan, you can probably cut your payments in half, still be able to keep your stang, lower your interest (Depends on rates in your area) and get some cash for your pocket. The good thing about the 40 year is that you dont have to pay it off in 40 years, just like your payment now you can put more into the principal to cut off some years but still have dirty cheap payments. Im a mortgage broker let me know if you need any help with anything.

yeah im inheriting a 5yr old along with the whole package.
Insta-family, just add "dad" LMAO
good thing tho, the kids dad is out of jail now and trying to get his lfie together. So im expecting him to throw some cash my way in child support seeing as how im gonna pretty much be raising his kid.
Im hoping with all the extra done to it i might get a little more. if i was to sell to a dealer or trade it in then def i would put it all back to stock.

I do have a 2ndary home equity line of credit that has about 25k available.
if i absolutly needed to dump it i could just go ahead and purchase it on that, then sell it for what i could get. i would have to pay off the remainder, but at least the payments would take a serious nose dive.
but then im still paying on the stang and i dont even have it.

Then jack would just add some racing stripes, ha!
That sucks man, you have the best lookin stang here, don't wanna see it go, whatever's best though..good luck
In my area that car could definately sell for over 16,000$, I saw an 00 V6 with 26K miles going for 11,000 last week, got sold saturday.

I dunno, i'd have a hard time spending 15,000 on a 03 with 15k miles if it smelled like a pharmacy smeared down with ben-gay. That old person smell is damn impossible to get rid of. LOL!

I know that feeling, a 72 year old woman owned my car before me......went through a whole bottle of Febreeze.

I dunno what im gonna do yet, im trying to keep every option available.
work just approved me for 10 hours a week of overtime, ends up being about 30hrs worth a paycheck.
50 hour work weeks are pretty brutal in this industry. but hell, i can probably dump about 1.2k+ per month into paying off the car. if i could keep that up in theory could knock 9,000 of the car loan's principle before the baby.... 11,000 if i put all my tax return into it.
I owe 23k..... it sucks being upside down. All a result of stupid automotive purchases.
Bought a new 99 Saturn sl1, traded it in for a 2001 saturn vue(new) and took about 3k over into the loan, dumped that and got a 2002 Ford Ranger (new) and carried about 5k over on the loan.
Then i traded in the ranger, got the mustang and carried about 7,000 over onto the loan for the stang which was 28k, but it was also 8k off msrp.
so i got the mustang new for 27,000. still owe 23,000.
lousy decisions on my part thats for sure. now im paying for it.
Lesson? Dont buy NEW unless you have lots of extra cash to throw around.
and wear a rubber.
lol

$20k would be tough to get, look at this: http://www.modularpowerhouse.com/for...&postcount=531
And don't refinance with a 40 year mortgage. A lot of people do that with cars and credit card bills. It's the dumbest thing to do, you're pretty much refinancing your car for 40 years? Who the hell would want to do that! Yeah maybe your payments would be better, but f-that!

I'd say 17k for your car.. maybe. Prices around here fluctuate quite a bit on GT's.. 16k if it's to a private party
I'm picking up a 02 GT w/ 41k miles tomorrow.. Paid 12,500.. not bad considering it already has a lot of things on it that I want..
K&n intake
BBK 70mm tb
eibach pro-kit
flomaster exhaust
bassani x-pipe
And it's black with black leather.. 5-speed.. Going to be hard to find those in a few years. Gonna take the 18" gunmetal saleens I have and slap them on there.

thoughts on Mortgages
1. If you lcould lower your 30 yr rate then you might could just refinance the car payoff on top of the home payoff, and keep the payment plan.. and keep your payments ~ the same. Best Option in my opinion. Free money via lower interest rate.
2. If you did decide to use home equity, you are just basically moving your debt around, BUT.. big BUT.. you can claim all the interest on that loan.. on your taxes, which in turn could be used to pay chunks on the prinicipal or help fund a nice summer vacation for the kids.
I used home equity for my stang and just paid cash. No lein this way either. I like the idea that I can pay it off whenever I want without a hassle.. etc..etc..
