That right thar is a damn fine looking mustang.

The great thing about a Shaker on a GT with a real mach1 hood is that is a pretty rare setup. Normally peoplee go with those CDC kits.

How did ya get the shaker installed on the 2valve? any under the hood shots? Did you bag a Karkraft 2v Shaker Adapter bracket or is this a DYI fab?

my STB is from maximum motorsports, it is the basic 99-04 GT, not the mach1 stb.

I dont think the GT STB will fit on the mach 1 because of the 32v engine, however, the GT STB clears right under the shaker.

Hey thanks my man. I love the Mach system on the GT...I picked up the KarKraft kit right before they took it off their web site (idk if they stopped selling it), and I also bought the Shaker system from them @ the same time. I actually picked them up before the winter time anticipating that I would do the work to it then, but the hood and system sat in my basement all winter.

A few months ago I picked up the deep dish Bullitt wheels because I heard Ford had a lawsuit against the manufacturing of these wheels and that all companies had to stop making and selling them...idk how accurate it was, but they are a little bit harder to find then they used to be so I picked them up.

This is all I got for now for under the hood...

Did you feel a different wit the strut bar? Does the car feel tighter or anything?

yeah actually it feels a bit more solid on cornering. Mind blowing difference? No. but you do feel it? Is it worth the $150 or whatever for the STB? Absolutly.

and they come in black. i painted mine orange.

I think you should probably be OK with the STB. It was a pretty tight fit on mine where the elbow for the CAI comes out, but im using a K&N FPIK which is a bit straighter than the one you have, that slight dip in yours will probably help it fit better.

I see you managed to rig your CAI to work with the factory airbox. The K&N Filter really fills the silencer well.

I dig your valve covers. I hate the stock black ones.

you DID put drainage tubes on the shaker right? i dont see any in the pic.

Now just take the old pony plaque off the throttlebody and stick it on the front

I painted the valve covers when I did the cams...I didn't run the drain lines yet, I haven't had time to go to home depot and get some tubing....but I don't drive the car in the rain and it's not my DD.

My main concern about the STB is that my 4 bolt CC plates might get in the way...there isn't that much clearance it looks like on yours. Would it be possible to measure the top of the 90 degree part that bolts into the top of the strut tower? Thats what I'm not sure about.

Thanks man!

i dont think that will help for fitment with the adjustable cc plates

i say go for a gt brace if you can, the mach 1 brace just goes from ST to St. it doesent bring it back to the firewall for the added support.

Steeda has a 3 link STB for the Mach, but it's $200. As long as the MM one will fit, I will definitely get that one. Just gotta see what the measurements are
