What do you think?
Here are some pics of my 2001 V6 Mustang...
It has a Razzi body kit, sunroof, Borla exhaust (tips coming out the side), 17 in rims, and a few interior upgrades. There are a few other things I want to do to it but I don't want to go overboard.

Thanks.
I don't know how much each individual mod cost since I bought the car used and it came like that. I know that all together it was about $6000 worth.
Sunroofs will run you anywhere from $800 - $2000 depending on what kind you get. The custom exhaust... I wouldn't want to guess at. I'm sure there are some exhaust places around your area that could give you some estimates. It definitely improves horsepower and it gives the car a nice "rumbley" sound (as my girlfriend puts it).
I've since added a grille delete kit and fog lights. I don't think I'm going to do anything else to the exterior of the car. I've done a few interior mods... billet a/c *****, flaming gauges, etc... I want to put a cold air intake on it and maybe a bigger throttle body but I don't know yet.

Reasoning for side exit exhaust costing you horsepower is pretty straightforward, in the fact that it isnt straight... the exhaust has to go into the muffler on one side... flow through it, turn around and come back out that SAME SIDE and the off the the side of your car... still looks and sounds awesome, and you wont really miss that 1-4 hp that is MIGHT have cost you... :happy2:

I didn't know that. I just assumed that since it was a Borla dual exhaust that it had to be better than the stock that was on it. You're right about it sounding pretty sweet. Most think it's a V8. People confuse it for a Roush all the time. Of course, us true Mustang fans know better .
I've looked at a lot of cold air intakes but there are so many brands out there I don't have a clue which one to get. Any suggestions?

I guess I should use my own car. Although, I do like the new 2005. The one that was in my avator is a 2005 Cobra or at least the concept version of it.
How do you get a big pick of your car on your posts?

well, coming from borla... they are pretty good.. i wouldnt expect that it would drop, could keep it at no gain, no loss, but they have the mandrel bends and good mufflers, so you could have gained a few negligable hp (negligable in the sense you wont feel it) as for sounds like a GT... i know what you mean, people think my car has a V8... real mustang guys know better (too bad we dont have any around here 0_^ )
