I have a Bassani O/R X pipe and SLP Loudmouth I catback and it is loud as F*CK I will try to get a exhaust video sometime..I plan on getting some bassani longtube headers at 1 point or another...probally will switch to the LM II resonators then so raspy right now thinking about getting the LM II resonator's before headers.

If they have a lift it's very possible you could have it done in two hours. But your risking not finishing in time for sure. If I were you I would do the catback one day and the X the next.

Ibougfht a 2010 Challenger RT hemi 6 speed. I saw you guys are in pa and so am I. I REALLY want to run SLP loud mouth 1 series the loudest ones. My concern is that it wont pass emissions b.c the muffler looks like a straight pipe.

I ran super 10 series on my mustang 5.0 and it was not too loud but any louder might get me a noise violation. Are these too loud to drive through Philly/ nyc and other sometimes sensitive areas?

Does the SLP have an actual muffler that will pass pa state inspection without any issues? What are the chances it will throw on a check engin light and void my extended factory warenty? Thanks!

No muffler is going to throw a check engine light, or cause you to not pass inspections.

Noise violations is different, as it relies on how lenient the PO are in your area.

Go big or go home in my opinion. V8s are suppose to growl, so let her open up.

**** 'em!

How is everyone impressed by the quality of the SLP parts? I have it narrowed down to the Borla, Bassani and SLP (Power Flo) catbacks. The chambered design; I'm not a big fan of the loud *** resonator types but I'm also hesitant seeing as SLP products are quite a bit cheaper than the two aforementioned and I know you get what you pay for. I've heard SLP makes damn good stuff but I just want to hear it from you guys.

I have the powerflos and they are not as loud as 1 or 2s but are loud. I do not notice any drone with my offroad x pipe and midlength headers. Slps are top notch in quality. The only issue with SLPs including the powerflo is that they are all resonators. The powerflos are straight thru just like the 1 and 2 but use the extra cavity to pack more insulation. If you want that chambered sound dont get SLP. I have several vids up on youtube http://www.youtube.com/user/venomous...24/kXre4_6ZDZQ

I'd put Borla and Bassani in a whole different class, as they actually "research" sound for each vehicle.

SLP, Pypes, etc. all just use the same muffler over and over again.

I love the resonated sound though. Like I said, go big or go home. Chambered designs are too bland for me, makes every car sound exactly the same. Whereas resonated designs can give distinct feels for 2Vs, 4Vs, Hemis, Rotaries, whatever.

I belive I would rethink this setup on a Hemi motor. These motors are some of the loudest motors, just by design. I think you're gonna find it unbearable.

Ihave the full set up plus cams and have to say Tuff is correct if you put them on a Mopar they gonna drive you nuts with the drone at constant speeds like cruising at 60

SLP's sound like **** on any car...especially the LM versions. The powerflos are nice though.
