SLP LoudMouth I's
great product and easy install.....no welding at all....SLP provided clamps to use instead of welding it....took 2 hrs to install in 30 degree weather and a hell of a wind w/ bear hands...so i took alot of time to warm up my hands....
the only downside is if u dont clamp them tight enuf...teh pieces after the over the axel pipe may fall off..trust me....i experienced it great sound too in my opinion... |
easy install for me too, just payed the mechanic 100 bucks :D
lol but the sound is awesome though, I can't get enough of it. |
i wish i welded mine. It took me and a friend about 1.5 hours. That's with cutting off the old exhaust. But as soon as i took off for the first time....there went my over axle pipe. Had a little trouble keeping it on but finally tightened the hell out of it and now works perfect. LOVE the sound.

How much louder would an SLP loudmouth catback be than flowmaster 40 mufflers....I have an o/r Prochamber if that would make any difference?
|
is there a ton of difference between the Loudmouth I and LM II series systems?
|
yea..the LMI's have a deep, raw, raspy tone to it....the LMII's have a deep, muffeled tone almost like the Magnaflow MagnaPaks but a lil more raw.....all 3 of these exhausts are loud....but for me...loud isnt enuf....
if u were to get Either the LMII's or MagnaPaks..i would get LMII's only because theyre a modular design meaning that u can swap out the Resonator/muffler for anohter resonator/muffler made by slp (you could probably fit other brands too but it hasnt been done to my experience) |
o and if thats ur car in ur sig..then you wont be able to use any of the exhausts because of hte side exit....

this is another kid on the forums here....its my future set up....Full SLP setup |
ok so there are different ones on this site im lookin at, youm got magnaflow catbacks, SLP loudmouth catbacks.. ok well theres only two, but then whats the difference between these two if any at all?

I have the LM1 and I love them. Very easy to install and the sound is exactly what I was looking for. Combine that with a great looking tip and you've got a great combination.
They sound even better with an x-pipe. I can't imagine how much louder mine is going to sound after I put the SLP long tubes on! |
:pepper:  I LOVE SLP LM1's AMAZING IS THE ONLY WORD TO DESCRIBE IT. I get a TON of ppl who ask "dang what exhaust is that", and the best thing is when you hear "that sounds WAY better than my flows". :pepper:

Longubes require you to have a shorty mid-pipe (x or h) Now the other issue is the fitment problems SLP long tubes headers will only match up with the shorty x pipe they sell. Some other manufacturers have these fitment issues with other brands like BBK and MAC |
if i have an offroad prochamber with loudmouth, which headers would go best??
|
your going to need shorty or mid length headers to keep your prochamber or you could get a shorty prochamber and get long tubes.........MAC will fit better...kinda.....I am a fan of Bassani headers
|
ok, so lets say i got SLP1 and wanted a shorty x and LT's, id have to get the x and Lt's at same time right? cant just put on a short X right?

Now if your going SLP all the way...which you should because its SLP....youi can get their X-pipe now and all their parts are modulaer so when the time come for Long tubes all you have to do is take off the 2 pipe that go to your headers and you'll have a shorty x pipe that fits might I add...I know thats what your thinking |
i want that exhaust that one kid has...lol sry forgot his name but he has the vid, SLP1 with Xpipe and LT's...ya kno wut i mean, so I COULD get my SLP1, then get a Xpipe, and when the time comes, i can take off the 2 pipes and slip those LT's on?

|
thats before he got blown...so then that w/ the cats....i think he told me that after he got blown he's removing the cats....thats still gonna be the setup im getting
|
if i were to get a full exhaust setup wat should i go with and how much will it all cost.
|
if u want a full setup...get all slp....theyre ment to be together and they fit perfectly w/ each other...as for cost...1421.85 not including PA tax if u order from Mustangtuning.com....and then u have installation of the longtubes.....
id say just go w/ the catted x pipe and the catback until ur pushing more air into the engine |
i dont think ill ever have the cash to get my blown, prolly exhaust, gears, tuned, and rims...lol if im lucky but i did JUST get the car, got yrs to save...lol
