Diff between chip and tuner???

Default Diff between chip and tuner???

Is there a difference between computer chip and computer tuner? or they are both the same thing???

can both be used at the same time or either/or usage? and which is best, if so???..............

BTW, you can't use them together unless you are using the programmer just to read and clear codes.

A chip is plugged directly to your cars computer and stays attached with set tunes. The programmer tunes your car thru the diagnostics port and writes to your cars computer. Programmers gives you the ability to change tunes but the chips are usually are programmed a little more agressive. Really depends on what you want.
