Question is there a quality diff between ebay and americanmusle headlights?

hey guys, I need to replace my worn out 119k miles beat up headlights.

I wanted to know if there's a major difference in quality in regards to the ones in ebay for 100 bucks or the AM for 190? I know that either of them also need to be 'sealed'.

As the saying goes "You get what you pay for", but sometimes you just get ripped off!

thanks for your input,

ceez

I don't trust ebay for things that are likely to fog up if they're made poorly. I'd talk to Randy Stinchcomb and have him order you up a couple factory replacements. At least you'll know what to expect from Ford.

lazerred6, how are they holding up? no early discoloration or scratches? did you have a perfect fit and did you also seal them. (i am going to seal them either way but wanna know if you did or not and what the results are so far)

The fitment sometimes isn't perfect but thats what you get with any aftermarket part. Just make sure you seal them like a mother with RTV silicone sealant. Mine haven't leaked yet. Go with them if you want the clear corners, if you just want the stock 01-04 look then go with OEM.

I have two sets of aftermarket headlights and I know atleast one set is from American Muscle. Both of them fog up a little when the weather is right. As long as you seal them right when you get them you shouldn't have that problem, I didn't seal mine.
