Sell the ZEX and buy exhaust?
Well I had a ZEX wet kit installed on my old 03 GT, but I just bought an 03 Cobra. I still have the kit sitting in my bedroom floor, so should I use it on the cobra? I dont wanna void the warranty, so I would have to take the whole kit off my car everytime it went to the shop. Plus, If my engine blew because of it, I would be screwed with having to buy a brand new 03 Cobra engine with money that I dont have. I heard they are expensive as hell.
Its kind of off topic, but will injecting the nitrous into the intake tubing before it enters the blower hurt the blower? I dont know how that works.
Anyways, should I sell the whole kit and buy a bassani cat back for the snake? The cobra smokes the tires out of first gear as it is bone stock. I think that adding nitrous would only increase my traction problem and slow me down at low speeds.

Yea Id have to agree that had to be one of the most ignorant remarks ever. The numbers dont lie, nitrous is hands down the best bang for the buck power adder out there. Course, you know what they say about opinions...if it were me, Id sell it to a friend or someone you know, and buy the exhaust for the Cobra. With those cobras, you can add about 60 hp with a new intake and exhaust setup, thats what Id do, then switch the pulley on the blower to take the hp right up to about 500.

I will forgive you because you must be young. For some dam reason, some people think nitrous is only for imports. I guess in their defense, it is because of the Fast and Furious crowds and juice is the best way for a 4 banger to cheaply keep up with a V-8.
The fact is, street rodders have been dumping nitrous into cars since there were muscle cars. My neighbor up the street was looking over my shoulder while I was installing nitrous on my mustang. He raced heavily back in the day. The last muscle car he sold was a 1968 Mustang Shelby in 1988 and guess what? It had nitrous just like most every other car he had well into the 80's.
Nitrous has been around a long time. I remember being a kid some 30 years ago and being in an old street racer that had a bottle stored in the arm rest. Nitrous is nothing new, nothing reserved for the imports, or the domestics no more than a tire or a windshield.

oh yeah, and how much do you want for the nitrous kit?

is it a wet or dry kit??? either kit will be ok to spray before the blower, but the drawback to the wet kit is that it takes fuel from the fuel line, which you dont want in a boosted application. If its a dry kit, i say get a tune and use it!!
