Well fellas...i am only a few days away from ordering my 3.90's. (please dont try to convince me to get 4.10's, lol) my question is what type of fluid oil do i need to buy for the install? do i just need transmission oil? or what? this is the only aspect about my gears that i've never really knew much about. all i know is i want the GOOD STUFF! thanks guys in advance!

i think it's like 90w gear lube.. but keep in mind u have to add the ford specified additive, to help with the posi...

 

You will need 75-w-140 synthetic gear lube and one bottle of friction modifier and you will be set.

 

Also, nice car, I wanted the shadow gray but I couldnt find any around here
