Default help with motor swap

I am droping a 99 Gt motor into my 98 Gt. I have some questions about it, so if anyone has done this before ill take all the help i can get. Ok, here are a few questions i have come up with for now.....

1. Will all the 98 mounts work with the 99?
2. Will all the wiring be the same?
3. Will the ECU's match up or will i need a new one?
4. Will my exhaust be the same or will i need a new one?
5. Will my transmission work or will i need to replace it?

If you have done this before and had complications with something please let me know, ill take all the advice i can get. Thanks

Never done before but here goes. The only thing you will have to deal with is you aren't wired for a coil on plug set up, not sure on that solution. Also you have 2 coolant sensors for your intake. 99-newer intakes have only one. You can put the drivers side sensor in the drain plug block located in the bottom drivers side of the motor, it will screw right in. other than that it should bolt right in.

I also have not done this but I think the motor mounts will work. The ECU is probably not compatible, the exhaust manifolds will be different because the heads are different, if its a auto tranny I would get one from a 99 up. Someone else correct me if needbe.

If you use your wiring harness, coil packs and fuel rails it will work and your cpu will work also. The mounts are the same.
