For my Magnapacks and the X pipe it was like $700.All bolt on.You don't want to weld the SS.

03GTMUSTANG: I don't get what an "X" pipe does or what an "H" pipe does.
In the late 50s I had a flat head 1952 Ford vert with two 4-barrels and later in the early 60s a 55 chevy w/three 2-barrels. Both engines came from stock car racers. I did most of the work myself so I know what the valves, cam, pistons, etc., do in an engine...I joined MT after I purchased a 04 GT vert so I could catch up on cars. After reading about these exhausts, I went out and looked under mine. The exhaust runs straight back from the manifold thru the cats, then the mufflers and straight to the rear. In other words straight pipes.
It would seem to actually derate the power with extra turns and perhaps more backpressure??
Tell me in very basic terms what an "X" or "H" pipe does to improve performance. I really haven't a clue (you probably guessed that already) Thanks. Sorry this was so lengthy.

mostly all an x or h pipe dose is equlize the exhaust pressure and helps it flow i think not to sure how it all works other than they say they sound diffren x pipe is more raspy were as h pipe is more agressive i think dont hold me to it
