well stage 1s ive heard you can get up to 20, but horsepower tv installed some on an 02 and only got 11 and it had full exhaust as for install ive seen prices from 350-1500 so shop around and find a decent shop to do it economical

they used crane cams cams an they only had a catback so that wasnt helping cams need full exhaust to make there power and a tune, that car didnt have either one.

Thing is mods don't seem to add up either. If you added up individually each mod that you do you will never see that at the dyno it seems.

I think that cams are a great mod however and sound awesome, but the install is a bitch and a half. Problem is, if you are gonna swap cams, you might as well swap heads too because the labor is the same, but then looking at over $2000 for parts, then you start to wonder about a blower etc...

I would hate to be the guy that installed cams then decided on heads later.

Exactly. I want my car to lope and chop, but at the same time, I dont plan on getting longtubes, so that would be a bottleneck, and I would rather have a blower, so I cant seem to find a common ground.

VT stage 1's are good for 15 - 20 rwhp depending on supporting mod's such as exhaust and intake. Stage 2's are good for 20 -25 but need to be rev'd higher to make it. I am getting ready to install Comp 270's, I'll post the results when done.
