Default Diognostic Code P0442 Question

I have been getting this code for about 3 weeks now. I got it once before about 3 or 4 years ago and I adjusted the gas cap and it was gone. Well it has shown up again. I tried adjusting the gas cap again then unhooked the battery to clear the code. All was well. I refilled my gas tank a few days later, and got the same code again when the tank was at 3/4 full. Same thing, adjusted the gas cap and cleared the code. Well, the damn thing keeps throwing the same code. Its like clock work with my fill ups. What else do I need to check to get this to go away? Vacume lines maybe?

The code is for a leak, so yes, check your lines (vacuum) for leaks.

Fuel filler neck grommet that goes into the tank, filler neck rusted out (under convolute) or a leaking cenister vent solenoid. A dealership can smoke thest it and save you a lot of headaches and wasted time and $$.
