Exclamation NEED SOME ADVICE!!!!

I just need to know if a 1998 Cobra motor will got into a 2001 GT? I know why not just put a 2004 Cobra motor in instead right? Well I have a killer deal on a 1998 Cobra long block IF it will fit that is.. Thanks in advance for any info..

It'll bolt right up for the most part but several points are going to give you some trouble:

You're going to need coil packs from a 01+ cobra or Mach1 and I'm not sure the 98 valve covers have the size of holes you'd need for them to fit.

Wire Harness will need to be messed with. Mostly just cut and splice action. Alternator and coil wires and a few other sensors. You'll need a new throttle cable as well.

Your ECU will run it but you'll need a base tune before you'll be able to start it and have it run for ****.

All in all, it'll work but you'll need a lot of little parts that you'll sorta have to figure out as you go. As for it bolting up and being technically able to be run by your ECU, hellz yeah. No worries there.

The P51 is a 2v spec intake manifold. It does not work with 4v heads.
