Default JLT intake and SCT Tuner

Okay everyone im new to this forum and was just wondering. I have purchased the JLT intake and have the SCT X3 tuner. I am running 93 octane. Is there anything else I can do to tune her as for the spark ratio? Also I was told I would get better gas milage with this combo so far I have gained 1 mpg from this.

Man, I always lose mpg whenever I change something on the mustang. But thats because I am always on the peddle :P

As for the other questions, I am not sure. Since you have a flash tune, everything should already be good to go. Just turn off traction control in there so you don't have to turn it off every time you get in your mustang. Its annoying IMO.

I'm pretty sure with our SCT tuners that we can only adjust WOT spark. We can't change it throughout RPM ranges like Diablos can, I think.

It depends on what they leave unlocked for you to mess with. My tuner,VMPtuning, left all those options open for me. So I can change global spark and timing in certain rpm ranges too. Along with WOT a/f etc... and other things. So it depends on what they leave open for you to mess with. Some places don't allow you to change anything.

On my x3 I remember seeing global spark, and also a range spark on the tuner. I am a retard though so I didn't check to see if they were able to be changed.

Yeah, I would agree. You dont want to mess something up. The guys that designed your tune get paid to do it, they are professionals. I would just leave it up to them.
