will a intake manifold off of a 2002 crown vic work on my 99 gt?

 

this is the part number you want to run on your 99 GT.

1W7E-9424-AA...sometimes the last 2 letters will be AB. this is the aluminum crossover PI intake part number.

i dont know if the crown vics came with the correct intake or not.

 

You don't want it. They are garbage and the TB faces the wrong way. Get a used PI crossover with a metal coolant tube on the front.

 

Isn't it the same thing but the elbow is turned 180°?

 

They are compressed down to fit under their hood and flow less, correct me if I am wrong here.

 

The Dorman replacement says it fits both cars, but that's the Dorman replacement. Didn't find anything on the Ford replacement but I'd imagine it's the same.

 

i know the plenum is right smack in the middle...so maybe the plenum mounts are the wrong direction.
