Default REALLY REALLY dumb tuner question.

I can't believe I am asking this, but wth. I purchased the sct tuner and air intake from the fine people at AM and my only question is; Do I have to leave the tuner plugged in, or can I disconnect it after loading the tune? Yes, I am dumb, please don't hold that against me.

Once the tune is loaded and the tuner says to turn off your car and disconnect the tuner, you can leave it disconnected.

Well when you are tuning the car it should always be off when it states turn the ignition on it means exactly that the ignition key should be set to on position but the motor shouldnt be on. after the tuner is done it will say the tune is in ur car please unplug it and thats when u can turn ur car on and enjoy...

It will tell you step by step what to do on the tuner.

It will say something like turn the car to the on position. That means you turn the car to the on position (not start it).

Then it will say to turn the car to the off position. That just means you turn the car off.

Eventually it will say to disconnect the tuner, just do that and start the car.

yes, it should be able to recalibrate your speedometer.

It can fix it only if you know what size gears are installed, otherwise you're just shooting blind
