Default What other bolt ons?

I have a sotck 08 Mustang I bought brand new a few yrs back. I havent did anything to it since ive had it and now its about that time to just have some fun in the thing.

Within the next 2 months pending on my money (Broke 20 yr old college kids with an apt lol)

Im gonna buy a
BBK Cold Air Intake
BBK 62MM Throttle Body

Not sure which Tuner I should get

Also unsure on what exhaust would be good. Buddy of mine can Make X Pipes so hopefully he can hook me up.

Any suggestions on the Tuner I should get and Exhaust?
Also what other kind of bolt ones will give me a little more power?

Not trying to have a drag car so dont want nitrous or anything lol even though a SC would be nice if I had money. Just lookin to have a little more power.

The throttle body won't do a whole lot unless you have some sort of forced induction like a supercharger. You might feel tiny gains, but nothing mind blowing. I think that it would be better money spent on gears....won't increase your power any, but you'll feel some more "umph" when you get on it.

Also, is this a GT or V6?

3.73s

4.10s

It usually goes 4.10s for Auto, 3.73s for Manual, but you can do it however you want. It's also best to probably get a tuner when you get gears so that you can adjust your speedometer and get a tuner all in one. AmericanMuscle.com usually has some great package deals.

Gears will make your car feel totally different. This will probably be the most performance affecting mod you'll make (besides forced induction and engine work).

I'm guessing your using an Auto? And what's "dof"? As for install, it's probably best to have a shop install the gears just because the rear diff is important it's best to have somebody who knows and understands how it goes in to do it.

Wat would a Torque Converter do for my car as it is now?

I can get it installed at my work for 300 maybe with discount. I work at a CHEVY dealership.

I work in service dept with a few buddies that are good with cars. One has been working on cars forever and races. Builds motors tears **** apart he can change gears and do it all he just lazy lol
.
Im sure we could all 3 get it done, but Id just rather have it done by the pros so if something goes wrong I can blame it on someone lol

Best first mod is a cold air intake/tuner combo. I always suggest vmptuning.com as they have a nice tuner/cai package that makes power. Exhaust is all personal opinion. So pick whatever mid pipe you like the sound of and whatever catback you like the sound of.

A higher stall torque converter is a awesome mod and really makes an auto car get up and go from a stop. However with stock rear gears there is no point in doing one. Its a mod that needs to be done with a set of higher ratio gears for the rear end.
