Question 5.4l Swap Questions

so im kinda confused about this 5.4l swap, your talkin about swapin ur whole engine for a 5.4l right? someone fill me in plz cuz im kinda confused because my car is only a 6ser so idk leme know plz

Yes. You literally swap your current engine and replace it with a 5.4L. Read up on the link Jack posted. You'll need more than just the engine for a 6er though...

yeah i saw that and thats what piqued my interest, and of course im sure if its a 5.4l ill nee to replace allot but reason i made ne thread is cuz i didnt wanna read like 101 pages of stuff

rear end, ecu, wiring harness, you would need the gt oil pan and pick up... actually here's a thread from a guy whos already done it

edit: btw that thread is about swapping a 4.6 but its the SAME EXACT THING as swapping a 5.4.

good work intz.

You'll want the HPS intake (www.hiperformancesolutions.com/54.html) to clear the hood but otherwise it's a standard v8 swap.

Don't be lazy, read it. You will learn all that you need to know about the swap. Plus, any new developments (like headers).
