does removing the silencer on 02 gt make any hp difference. ottytrai

Very minimal but its a free and easy mod.

Don't bother, just get a K&N filter or a CAI

Cold air intakes on our cars are pretty pointless. You can get a drop in filter and remove the air silencer and get just about the same performance increase for 1/4th of the price.
