Default Xpipe question!?

Well guys, finally time to get an Xpipe for my car...but what to get?!

currently have SLP 1 LM's and well...love em..

I want em alittle louder, id like alittle deeper also if possible?

I was thinking just get SLP xpipe O/R's but was told might be too raspy?

Any suggestions?

It will be loud, not deep, and very raspy! Don't get an o/r X pipe.

Be warned it will be very loud with that setup. I would highly recommend getting a catted mid pipe with the LM1 catback. I have an o/r H with the LM1 and it was retarded loud.

However there is one for sale near you in orlando. Here is a link to the site its on. I post there under silverbullit99 (back when I had my silver 99 f150).

I'm sure you can talk him down to much less money. I wouldn't pay more then 100bucks max for it. best part is you can drive over and pick it up or meet half way with him.

Doesn't matter, it wont make a difference. Get what you can get for the cheapest. Look at the link in my last post.

Ditch the LM1's.

Bassani Mid Length Headers, Bassani Catted X, Bassani Cat Back.

Its dreamy.

mmm i love the sound of my LM1's....lol

Just wanting a Midpipe, maybe make it alittle louder/deeper is possible...not going to replace my catback.

Thats my current setup minus cats and cat back. I do have the cats and may put them on. My SLP powerflo mufflers sound pissed now since the D1. I may have to go with a catback thats more stealth as the D1 sounds like a jet engine. https://mustangboards.com/exhaust-vi...***-valve.html

I would get the cheapest used catted h pipe.

dont put an o/r x with the slp lm1. its ok with the lm2s, but you really need a catted x pipe with the lm1s. it will be a good bit louder with a catted x. something i had to find out the hard way, sound clips on youtube, you willl get a good idea of the TONE of an exhaust, but it in no way gives you a good picture of the decible level. if i knew my car was going to be as loud as it is with the slp's i wouldve kept my flowmasters.

Alright, guess ill look around for videos on a good sound...

heard SLP1s / SLP Xpipe catted or just BBK xpipe / JLT Ram air and seemd nice? http://www.americanmuscle.com/slpxc99.html

I do love the sound of my LM1s even at high RPMs ((Tho when JUST starting the car, can get a bit raspy but after driving for a minute its fine))

i just want it alittle louder and alittle deeper if possible...not going to get Shorty X and headers, just gonna get an X and call it a day for my xhaust
