Default MPH/Xpipe question..

Hi, I have a 04 gt with flowmaster cat back and o/r xpipe, mil eliminators, jlt intake..now i was on the highway, and got in a lil race and when i hit about 125mph my mustang felt like it really had no more to go or like the mph gauge was really creeping..Could this be a case or in need of a tune bc of the new xpipe or what, I just dont understand why it would do this..Thanx..

nope...you mustang is just fine. the gearing of the trans mission pretty much is what is holding back the car. that and the aerodynamics of the car. 4th gear seems to fall flat on its face around 4k rpm. also, the guage starts to read incorrectly after it hits triple digits.

now there isnt any reason why you need to be doing 125 mph in a race on the highway...

take it to the drag strip where you may see 106 mph n/a...maybe...
