got my car back last monday ,so today i was driving to the A's game, temp was fine a i drove 75mph..suddenly a head gasket blew and ****-loads of smoke came out my exhaust!!!should this have happened????

 

Well, thats not exactly a blown motor. Replace the HG's, change the oil and coolant. Should be good to go. If it just let go like that, sounds like there was an underlying problem and it was ready to go at any time. You running a s/c or no2?

 

did you use studs or OEM bolts? were they properly torqued in sequence? shouldn't happen on a new motor.
