Default Fuel injectors

I have the fuel injectors that came out of a 5.4L Ford Truck! Are them injectors doing me any good? should i just put the stock ones back in?

what color are they? if they are pink or yellowish color then they are stock. some pink injectors are 21# pumpers. 19# stock injectors are more than enough for your mods.

2003-2004 Gt's for some reason used the pink 21lb'ers as stock even though previous years made the same power and used the orange 19lb injectors.

Pink = 21lb
orange = 19lb.

Keep the pink 22lb injectors in your car. They are plenty for the mods you have.

there was a compression bump for the 02-04 cars that bumped the power just over the mark that ford was willing to keep the 19's in. 02+ 4.6 and 5.4 2v cars normally ended up with the Pink tops but a lot of 02's had the 19# yellow tops. I'm selling my 22# pink tops if anyone wants them. They'll have fresh pintle caps and o-rings. Cheap. Great for anyone with <300rwhp.

Leave your injectors alone unless youve got 300rwhp NA! If you put on a super charger or turbo then youll need to upgrade. If you put on a dry shot then youll need to upgrade. If you put on a wet shot then you stick with stock injectors.

Yeah them pink injectors spit out 10x more gas than the orange tops! 2 hour of highway driving, doing 75 took a little more than a half tank of gas!

You cant just swap injectors without getting the car tuned!
