Default dumb question....

is it ok to disconnect the power steering lines that come out in front of the radiator? I mean is it pressurized? I didnt think it was. Is it ok to get some air in the lines? I may need to disconnect the lines and relocate them so I can get my intercooler sitting in the right spot......

It is OK but you need to bleed the system afterwards.

You don't have to take it anywhere its just a process that must be done to get air out. I will look in my manual when i get home. Its just a matter of turning the steering lock to lock for so long and in some order i dont remember off the top of my head.

When you disconnect the lines, transmission fluid will come out pouring out. The way you bleed the system is by turning the steering wheel from side to side. The fluid you put back in is atf transmission fluid not the standard brake fluid.
I just extended the lines to sit infront of my intercooler...

Ford uses Mercon (or Mercon V, don't have my manual on hand) ATF for PS fluid.
