when i de-accelerate from around 4000 rpm, i notice a very loud pop noise that is coming out from the exhaust.i've asked around but no-one really helped me like FORD!!!any ideas of what is making that (loud)POP!!

sounds like you have a backfire, have you checked your plugs?

yeah...change your plugs and clean out your MAF

decelerating from a high RPM like that will almost always back the exhaust backfire. Nothing to be worried about.

if you have offroad exhaust you should expect that sound to be more audible. How bad is it? Like a single loud pop or hundreds of loud pops in rapid sucession?
