It says theres no loss of low end tq and hp all the way till redline.....The sheetmetal looks badass....

The Logan Motorsports 4.6 2V intake manifold was designed for those 2V performance enthusiasts that want a high horsepower, high rpm edge, without the compromises. The stock intake manifold becomes a serious restriction at higher horsepower levels, and this is clearly evidenced by a 2V's traditional lack of rpm range. Even when coupled with the largest off the self cams available, ported heads, headers, etc; 2V's are generally out of breath by 6300-6500 rpm. This is completely unacceptable for a serious performance engine in this day and age. Now you can have 4V rivaling rpm range on your street car without sacrificing low-rpm performance. Independant testing has show over 60 horsepower on heavily modified combinations, with huge powerbands.

It also works extremely well on more mild naturally aspirated combinations. For example the following graph is of a 281ci combination with 10.75:1 compression, Comp 270 cams, and Livernois Stage 1 heads. The car has long tube headers and full exhaust, and obviously our new manifold. This is a very mild combination that idles at 800 rpm and has excellent driveability. It is also inexpensive and does not include any special parts. It produces incredible power however, with 321 rwhp and 309 lb-ft. This is extremely high for a combination such as this, and would be a good power number on an NA 4V. Also notice how long the power is carried, not only does it make a nice peak number but it stays near that number for a very long time.

I really like the exterior of it. Problems... hood clearance? Shorten it by 3 inches and stick it on a cammed 5.4.

No it doesnt clear the stock hood. I wonder what hoods will work with it....Maybe 03 cobra hood? The list price I think it said was $1500 for the kit minus cost of throttle body and throttle cable. So in all with the cost of a new hood and everything its gonna cost around $2,000 to get this intake on your car....

I think the P51 and Harball'r are a better bet being cheaper and fitting w/ stock hoods (though the P51 may need notching).
