mm k, i really want to add cams to my car...so im looking for an alternative to VT Stage 2 cams since those are always out of stock...two of my buddies have the comp cams 262's and i know those are some great cams for my application(low-mid range power) but im looking into a stage 2 cause of the sound,call me dumb but yeah...so what would be a stage 2 cam i can safely run on my 2001 GT?

 

nevermind...im gonna go with the Comp Cam 262's

 

VT doesnt keep their cams "in stock". They grind them as they are ordered. It only took me 1 1/2 weeks to get my cams after ordering them. Dont sacrifice quality for immediate availability.

 

yea rite before i confirmed my order for the 262's i emailed VT and yep got the response you said,they said should take 5 days to get to me,we'll see

 

262's are fine cams.

 

I love my stage 2 cams.

 

vt's cams seem to make more power at each level than comps... probably the bigger overlap.

Anyone got some dynosheet action before and after their cams?

 

when i get back from iraq ill get a dyno run before the cam install and then after...so ill be able to show you in a few months..
