you will need to mod a lot more then the engine to use any of the extra pwr safely. GT + brakes, rear end, tranny.. . . . . .
think about all that be for just over pwering the car.

Thats alot of miles put on a 2 year old car. Mine was the same pretty much. Back in 04', I bought my 03 GT for 18k with 34,500 miles on it. Theyre still trying to make money off the new body style with that one. I think you could find a better deal, maybe one the same price with half the miles.....

But you know there are 03 cobras going for 21k right now....with around the same mileage as that 05 GT. The insurance isnt that much higher. Make sacrifices.....

retrofitting the v6 with v8 power like that will FRAG your tranny and rear end. Replace both with properly spec'd components. I'd use a standard 8.8 with 31spline axles and a nice limited slip. Also you'll want a proper clutch and fuel system.

I'd slap a turbo on your v6 and spend the extra money building a 6 to mega tough specs. It'll cost less and handle a LOT better.

fuel pump, injectors, possibly beefing up the engine, not sure tho. tmaturbo.com has a TT setup for the 99-04 6's, prolly could make one for ur 05 not sure tho.
