Magnaflow has about the best sound for 05+ that I've heard from a axle-back kit. I hate flowmasters on principle and the others sound like **** can resonators. I'm sure Borla has something nice as well.

I personally love the Mac sound on the S197's.

I love the sound of my borla cat back. It's pricey, but the sound is really important to me.

Same here, I waiting until the flows rust out. I hate the 2k drone but the sound at idle and accelerating is worth it. Hopefully the Aero Chambers sound the same w/o the 2k drone.

I've heard FRPP, SLP, and Bassani.

FRPP and Bassani hands down are awesome sounding. SLP was loud and was obnoxious. Maybe because it was cammed as well.

LMFAO.

can't breathe.... too funny..

I agree 1,000,000% with the statement above.

In addition to that on the dyno flowmasters showed a loss of power when compared to stock exhaust. The only thing worse then flowmasters for performance, is no mufflers - stock exhaust is better.

Where did you get that from? According to these guys (http://www.allfordmustangs.com/Detailed/70.shtml), the only mufflers that beat the Flowmasters were the Borla, Bassani, and Spintech mufflers.

Thats crap. The ol'buttmeter said they were making more power then what I was running. But I also put the Dr. gas X on at the same time. The power was there.

not to mention they probably actually make you lose power! flowmaster is complete crap. There are two brands I will NEVER put on my mustang...BBK and Flowmaster

Magnaflow or Borla FTW!

Agreed.

In reguards to the power of flowmasters, I read that in a muffler shootout somewhere.
