Default mod advice for 4.6

alright i finnally got a good job making some money so i can start fixing up the car i know i am going with probally ford racing 3.73 gears and looking at a mmr 4.6 street mod 600 or 900 from www.modularmustangracing.com not sure yet but after that i have no clue what else i will do trying to stay N/A as long as possible so can you tell me what would work well and make power any advice will help

get new heads, headers, cams... build the top end pretty much...

heads are the most restrictive part on your car

look at VT, foxlake racing and modularpowerhouse for heads. Just some that came to my head. Also fox laking racing may be the best intake out there if you can get over it's look. Might have a clearance issure there though with the hood, not sure. If you want to stay N/A you might think about increasing your compression, but then it might hurt you in the future if you decided to go FI.

Actually the P-51 isnt that good. Tim at MPH doesnt like it, and a lot of people actually lose hp from it.

ok as far as heads and things go should i do the PI swap i am having trouble finding a good intake for my car i havent had a chance to look at those web sites yet headrers long tube equal shorty or what i am not sure the effects of each

long tubes benifit the most (tho many say its not worth it..but if ur paying for headers then do it right the first time)..for intakes i would go w/ the bullitt or the richard racing intake. if money allows it get some stage 2 or 3 VT heads w/ stage 2 cams..but if u cannot afford it get the PI head swap

also..dont fear the gear...4.10's all the way
