a 400$ compucar kit. N20 for the win

just about nothing for 1/4 mile action. 99-01 cobras on average turn in pretty much the same times stock for stock thanks to IRS. Add a tune and exhaust to a GT and you're right there with them on the 1320. I've raced many a 99-01 snake in my 01 and 03 gt's on the street and always held right with them or beat them from a dig thanks to the IRS's deficiencies. When I had my IRS and raced NA cobras they'd always beat me.

hm... some "upgrade"
So you're paying an extra 10k for a car that is a better DD with an extra 60hp. Don't get me wrong... but wouldn't someone be more likely to use a GT as a DD than a Cobra? I can't imagine people who buy Cobras are thinking "This thing is gonna turn really well on the way to Walmart!"

i drive a 98 gt and i have driven an 03 cobra...i started sweating like i first started sweating when i got my GT!? there is simply a reason behind ford making these snakes...u dont see supercharged factory cars very much if ever...unless it came from ford?! simply cause people will by it out in the market....and the car is amazing.....if anyone has never gotten the chance to drive a terminator.....plz make it a goal before you die.....its humbling

It also depends on your gender, females obviously have a dramatically lower rate.... Go figure... If you have any tickets, accidents or claims in the past 3 yrs that's another rate increase.
Example, im 19 and have a perfect driving record, no tickets, accidents or claims and my ins was still going to be in the $200-300/mo range for full coverage on an 03 GT, so I would assume somewhere in the range of $300-400/mo+ for a Cobra. Now, there are discounts for having other policies or multi-car households ie: if you get your ins under your parents household. It really just all depends on your driving record and age, and what the car's rating is.
This one will blow your mind, I was quoted $327/mo for a Scion TC and close to the same for a Neon SRT-4 because it is a "Z" rated car... Incredible...

I'm 28 with a clean sheet and I pay $130 a month. When I traded my GT in for the Mach my insurance went from $115 to $130 a month. I'm assuming cause the HP rating was higher. That's also full coverage and $500 deductible.
