I think both prices are a tad high imo. You can get a 99 GT for that.

I would rather have a snake than a GT though. See if you can talk the guy down to 8K and if not keep looking. KBB for a good conditon 96 is $8070 with that mileage.

Never pay over KBB for a vehicle. No exceptions. Especially if its from a dealer, because they shafted the previous owner as well.

Bah, only if you want it to sound like a tractor Get some longtubes, a prochamber, and some magnaflows...or if you want defening, get some flowmaster 40's, some longtubes, and an off road H pipe. Did you end up getting the snake I suppose? Dont ever pay that much for a 92. Thats rediculous for that many miles.

There are so many mustangs out there, dont pay prices like that!!! I saw mine sitting for like 4 months with $7800 in the window 97gt with 51k on it. 3 months ago. The guy ended up needing cash and i got it for $5k. After i brought it home i found a Steeda Tri Ax under the boot. PI heads and intake. And i already knew it had a brand new Magnaflow Cat back from the nice sound and receipt in the glove box.

Get some SLPs or Magnaflow mufflers. I can tell a mustang riding by my house by the flowmaster sound. Seems like flows are mandatory on a mustang. I put a MT xpipe on mine and love the sound over flowmasters. My 97 came with 6 catalytic converters so putting on the xpipe really woke it up the sound
