Default Fuel pump problem?

To give you an example of my problem...today I get in my car start it up and back it out of the driveway and put it in first. I step on the gas lightly to get it moving and it stutters. Kinda like when you are running out of gas but I still had a half a tank. It only does this when the car isnt warmed up. Could this be a fuel pump or something else?

sounds like a bad IAC, how many miles on it and when was the last time you changed the PCV valve and did you buy a Ford one?

It's a 2000 gt 5 spd with 41,000 miles. IAC? Intake Air Control or something around there? I'm gonna take it out and spray some carb cleaner on it and put some injector cleaner in the tank also... See if that helps any....

Well I took the IAC off and looked inside...BLACK...So cleaned the inside with carb cleaner and it looked a lot better. Then I put the injector cleaner in the tank and went for a ride. I pull out of my street and get on it a little bit. A Cadillac cts was ahead of me and as I come up to a light the cts swerves over to the next lane to get beside me. Light turns green and we both take off. By the end of 2nd, the cts front bumper was at my rear. I go to shift into 3rd and it doesnt make it :wallbash: (stock shifter). Can't wait till I get my MGW. But as far as I can tell....the carb cleaner helped.
