Default Cobra heads swap

How much harder would it be to swap in a 03-04 cobra heads and intake to a 98 gt then to say just do a pi swap?

LOTS. You'll have to change the whole underhood wiring harness, intake manifold, exhaust, fuel system and ooodles of little things.

If you're going to do a cobra swap, buy a wrecked cobra as a donor car or you'll never get all the parts at once.

It's a great swap for a V6 car cuz' you'll have to do all that and drive train upgrades too so it's not that much "extra" work. From a 2V V8 to a 4V V8 is a pretty major undertaking. Most guys just say screw it and slap on a blower for their 2V. We're not trying to discourage you if that's what you want to do but realize how much is involved and how much can go wrong when you change that much stuff all at one time.

I'd say we've beaten that pony clean to death.

Just read this but IMO its not worth it ,do an engine swap, rebuild the old block with ported pi heads and low comp pistons or just sell it and buy a faster stang. http://www.musclemustangfastfords.co...MMFF_MixMatch/

it's a great swap if you have the time and patience and money. Lots of power potential in the 4V heads.... gobs more than a 2V. It's just really a PITA

i can't beleive you asked that... you would be way better off getting a donor motor just think of all the parts you woudl need... different timing chain.. exhaust, ecu tune, wiring harness, injectors, fuel rail, intake manifold, not ot mention how much work that would be.... sounds like a good way to waste time and money
