Unhappy The damage...

So I went to get my quote to get my bumpers painted ... to take them off and put them back on, to fix small scratches that happened during shipping, to fill in "cobra" on the back, and of course to paint them:

$960 dollars, and it will take about 4 days...so that plus my bumpers, fogs, bezels, and chin spoiler

$960 + $520 (front plus acsesories) + $250 =
about $1800 dollars all said and done....

asessment: DONT FRIGGEN CRASH, and if you do DONT GET A REAR COBRA BUMPER its not worth it and neither is a front...man imagine what I could do with $1,800.....

costing me about $175 just to fill the "COBRA" but they are doing it right, they are using a special epoxy that flexes with the bumper...and this is the best place in town and it will look amazing when done...but godammit...$1,800

somethin tells me, if you can afford $1800 just like that, even after everything else youve bought, that rising insurance costs shoudlnt be a pain. Serously YOU arent even making the payments so wtf?

save yerself at least 1,400 bucks. In fact, you might just be able to bring the bumpers up, my buddy can take em in and get em done and you can come pick them up when done. Im not kiddin, he had his F350 repainted last week, cost him 400-500. And that is the entire freakin truck.

I was asking about getting a new hood and getting it painted, would be about 100 bucks. <grin>
what about color mataching and body work...he may be a great painter, but I doubt he can do wonders with body work

Hey Spring. I had my front bumper painted, my hood re-painted, and my wing painted for $200.

I did all the prep myself under the guidance of the painter. And my friend sprayed it with primer, paint, and clear.

My advice to you is to do the prep your self, and find someone else. That is a boat-load of money.

Seems expensive but they do have to remove bumper and put it back on as well as fog lights and everything else you got. Is the chin spoiler going to be yellow?

they are remonving the bumpers and putting em back on for like $150 but i didnt do it agian for 3 reasons
1 its a pain in the ***
2 i dont want to scratch them in transport or while putting em on
3 i dont want to drive 20 miles on the high way in heavy traffic with no bumpers

im doing the fogs and chin spoiler my self, because its elementary....and the chin will be black
