Default Black paint with rock chips and sand damage

I'm trying to get my paint looking good. It has rock chip damage all over the front, it also seems to have small bubbles where it was repainted after the front fender was scratched. Also there is a discolred area on the right front fender where it meets the hood. So can I fix the rock chips (white specks on black paint) with a clay bar? Or should I have a professional wet sand and buff the paint?

So what do you think about a 1000 dollar paint job. Would this be a cheap **** paint job? I've read between 500-10,000 dollars for new paint. I'm comfortable with 1000-1500 bucks on paint, just wondering if it will chip, fade or crack easily. Would I have to pay extra for a gloss coat too?

1000 for teh whole car? Unless you are getting hooked up by someone you know, thats gonna be a crap job. A decent same color paint job is gonna run $2500-3000 plus more if you need body work. You get what you pay for. If you want a crap job, just take it to Maaco and save the money.

Hahha, yea...never meant to sound like I know what I'm talking about. So for 2500 would that be whole body with clear coat too? Anyone know a good shop out in seattle?

Most paint jobs are 2 stage consisting of base coat (color) and clear (gloss). These together = 1 paint job. Shop around and get lots of estimates, also look at the work they have done. Don't just open the phonebook and pick one.
