Other Hobbies
Hey folks.
Just curious as to what other hobbys you have.
Seeing as how im the only one who read the previous line so far, ill go first.
Untill i got my mustang, my biggest passion was audio.
Not car audio, and not home theater, but 2 channel stereo. Ive had 2 systems so far, the first i had sunk $11,000 into and then i had a bad roomate choice, got evicted, and had to sell the whole system for .25 cents on the dollar to pay off the $2,600 eviction bill i got from a lousy roomate who couldnt controll himself. We were both on the lease and he diddnt have a job so i got stuck with the bill.
Got a new system now, only have about 9k into it, but each component was mroe thought out than in the previous system. spend this weekend modifying the house so i could sink my stereo components into the wall to clear up the space between the speakers so i could get that imaging back. All in all, about 15 hours of work between drywall, framing, cable running, electrical, and connecting everything and getting it set up. Buttload of work, but it looks and sounds damn good.
Not trying to brag about the price, it takes me quite some time to save up for each piece. that is just how much i appreciate good music through a good system. A lot of people here have spend more than that on thier cars. Plus for a high performance audio system, that is pretty cheap, i have buddys on Audiogon.com who who have systems upwards of $150,000. Kharma's top of the lines speakers run for a cool million. F That. hehe
Big fan of all types of music. Diana Krall, BB King, Skinny Puppy, Rehab, Patricia Barber, KMFDM, Outkast, Nick Cave, AC/DC, Def Leopard, Violent Femmes, pretty much everything but country.
What other passions do all of you have?

i ride bmx street/dirt (i dont race). have been doing this for 8 years. since im in the military i dont ride as much as i used too. thats good though less stuff gets broken. current set up is a little old but it gets the job done for what i do. for you bike riders i have a federal nation frame, lasted longer the my S&M cris bennet, primo hula hoop rims 12gauge spokes no name hubs 14mm axles, primo power bite cranks, kink 44 tooth sprocket, big kmc chain, 17 tooth rear sprocket to fit the chain, terrible one bars cut down, S&M pitch forks slightly bent, and who needs brakes. who knows how much money i put into riding. if i can remember all of the stuff that has broke or been damaged beyond repair it would probably exceed my supercharger bill.
paintball is another slight interest. i have a stock tillman something it cost like 300 bucks, shooting the kids is fun.

My gamertag was shad0ws, but I just recently sold all 3 of my xbox's and cancelled my gamertag. You should do the same, it's better to go out then find yourself turning down people to go out because you are in the middle of matchmaking or a MLG match.

Not sure if this could be labeled a hobby, But my favorite thing to do on my usually 1 day off a week is cooking. I love to cook. Been doing it for close to 35 years. Most of my friends and family say I should have a food network show LOL. I do it for fun and of course some good eats.
I also love to fish. and I am an avid nascar fanatic. Racing games are my favs, too. I have all the latest driving sim stuff. Or at least I got a Wheel and pedals and about 10 racing games. Used to race online but I usually make a bunch of enemies and lag is pretty bad even with cable modem. Makes for a stressfull night.

Not really sure if I have many hobbies. I love NASCAR and play fantasy racing every week. My hobby used to be building trucks and going to truck shows but I grew out of that. I like to travel and take road trips even though I don't do it much. Other than that I have 2 jobs and school so that doesn't leave me with much "hobby time"

I dont have any hobbies other than my mustang. I used to be into car audio in both SPL and SQ but that changed. Used to be into computers and gaming, but havent played any games in a while. Can you call drinking a hobby? Well I dont do that either unless im not driving which is very seldom.
