20 is enough for me...they all do the samething, which is to deliver music to your ears. I dont need a home theater system banging on my ears, lol

 

I dunno. I buy the apple ones when i lose mine, which is about twice a month.

I heard those dr.dre headphones are pretty sweet. lawls.

 

Whatever the best deal is at the time. Last set were Sony and about $8.

I paid $200 bucks for my earphones. Lifetime warranty, even if I run over them, and they sound better than the system in my car. Cheap is cheap in electronics these days. I was buying a $20 set of skullcandy/sony once every few weeks until I realized over a year I had spent $100+ on shitty headphones that kept breaking.

 

The most I could see spending on a set would probably be around $100. I have never spent more then ten bucks but if I found a set that I liked enough I might be willing to spend the 100. I would not spend much at all unless I got to demo them first.

 

I wouldn't pay over $20, and I don't lose them often. I have a few sets of the Apple headphones that have been around the house for years.

 

Do you work out in yours?

Because I believe the moisture is what have kept killing mine. I've tried the Apple earbuds, Sony, Skullcandies, and then finally settled on these Miles Davis Turbines from Monster after one of the reps brought them in and it was like sex to my ears.

Idk. I just hate buying something over and over again, knowing it isn't going to last. The longest one of my cheap sets lasted me was like 2 months over winter, since I couldn't really go out and run or workout with them.

 

I usually pay around 20-25, If i dont get ones that have the flexible foam type material they won't stay in my ears. The only way i would spend more than that is if they were a bluetooth set so I don't have to deal with the cord when I am working out

 

I do workout with them in about 50% of the time. I haven't noticed anything going wrong with them but possibly in the future.

 

goddamn, those Apple earphones are TERRIBLE quality, not to mention they are the most uncomfortable things ever...

I paid ~100$ for a pair of Ultimate Ears earbuds. Trust me, once you hear a pair of nice earbuds, your opinion on anything less is gonna change, especially those shitty Apple earphones (tin cans).

 

I'm a big fan of Koss earphones. That's all I've ever used. I paid around $30 for my earbuds a few years ago. They've been through a lot of **** and still sound as good as new. The sound quality is awesome, crystal clear and they deliver the perfect amount of everything. I'd spend probably up to $100 on headphones if I could afford it.

The Dr. Dre headphones sound ******* awesome, by the way. If I had a need for those and could afford them, I'd be all over them.

You should work for Best Buy then.

I could've got the standard Beats over the ears for free, or got my Miles Davis tribute turbines for $200 instead of $500. So I chose the turbines. That way if I ever decide to sell them, I'll get my money worth.

I know your sister in law has some, but have you ever actually taken a few minutes of your time to listen to them? The first time I heard them, I was like "DAMN!" They are worth the price to me. They are probably the best sounding headphones I've ever heard in my life and that's saying a lot, due to my dad being a musician.

i also compared these, i used the same volume/song and IMO i would take the Panasonic Headphones. The Beats were vibrating way too much on my ears

So i have tried both Beat seats Ear/Headphones and i dont see what the big fuss is about hem

 

Those Dre Beats headphones are 100% marketing bullshit. I can guarantee he doesn't use that **** in the studio. Slap an endorsement on a shitty product and people will buy it, it's a formula that has been around for decades.

Just for *****, I went and looked up reviews on the Beats headphone line and they're largely average/negative. Nothing really stands out.

Again, I use UltimateEars. They make everything from consumer grade earphones (that still sound good and are well manufactured) to the In-Ear monitors that musicians use in-studio and on-stage. If you ever get the chance to try or buy them, I would HIGHLY recommend them. I bought a pair in the past year and love them. They're the first pair of in-ear phones that I've used that actually STAY in my ears when I'm moving around, I had a pair of Skull Candys that would fall out if a spider farted.

I picked up a set of these headphones about 6 months ago. They work great for any style of music. I was looking around at prices and reviews and these seemed to be the best quality for the price.

I have these and the fit and sound are excellent. Especially for working out. They have like 3 different sizes both with and without the weird ear thingy which really keeps them in your ear when you run and such. I spent $120 on them.

 

Shure, Klipsch, or Monster Turbines are all I'll use.

 

I guarantee you won't find better headphones than Sennheiser.
