Default Advertisements are taking over

Seriously whats with this crap? Go to watch a popular youtube vid, sit through a 30sec advertisement before starting your vid. Watch an anime episode or something of the sort that has 2 parts, watch an advertisement after first parts over. Listen to music on playlist.com, every few songs advert interupts music. Go to some webpages, video advertisements slow computer down and have to click mute on them because they wont allow you to stop them. These days most shows are 30min time periods, seems like around 6-9 minutes of it are commercials. Radio is especially bad, pop channels have more commercials than music literally here. If you mouse over some adverts on sides of webpages they expand without any warning and take up almost the whole page. Im getting tired of all this ****, its ridiculous. I dont give a **** about your company, your just pissing me off so i will refuse to shop from your company for resorting to such rude and obtrusive adverts. Shows are prbly gunna be soon these days 15min show, 15min advert. Im tired of this half assed bullshit, whens it gunna stop? /Rant. Anyone else feel this way?

And yes, Imad, and cool story bro, and whatever other derivatives of cool story.

I found this really annoying when I started to watch stuff on Hulu. The same thing happened a few months after I got satelite radio and quickly canceled my subscription. Now you have to pay to avoid advertisements and soon after that advertisements will start even with the premium subscriptions. Capitalism sucks but is also awesome at the same time.

My favorite, is when your reading something online, and random words are turned into links, so that when you scroll down, and accidently hover over said words, an ad will pop up. Its especially difficult to watch **** these days with all the damn pop up ads......

Then.... because you don't unscroll it fast enough a stupid video starts!

I understand Hulu because they need to rent rights to show the videos, but even facebook has video ads before things now.

Companies are ruining the ******* internet. Its deplorable, yet inevitable. Not like we all didnt see it coming. It has gotten markedly worse recently though all over the www.

I can completely understand why companies pursue advaertising the way they do. The internet offers unlimited and often very inexpensive advertising. It is often easy to focus on a specific target group increasing the effectiveness of said advertising.

With all that being said, IT'S ANNOYING AS HELL!

This, i understand that companies like to be paid to run a site because of adverts, but still i dont give a rats ***. Leave our videos alone, and dont make them so intrusive, and i wont care then.

I really hate the ones from sites like Yahoo where an image or video takes up half your screen with no apparent "X" to close it

As much as I agree with all this, I don't believe theres anything we can do about it. It's all about the money, and as long as people are getting rich off these anoyings ads, they're gonna stay. Even though I hate that.

Simply put: we would probably have better luck bringing democracy to Cuba, than ending even 10% of these youtube ads.

I hated this too. I googled about getting rid of it and found a little write up on ehow.com. But you will have to repeat the process of deleting the accelerators after you clear your cookies.
