Default Damn!!

Most everyone here know my husband drives a Shelby GT and that he is deployed to Iraq and I am responsible for maintaning his car now.

I ******* hate his car!! I hate driving a standard and I really hate driving this one!! A perfomance car is not the car of choice for a novice driving a standard, especially in Germany I kill it, chirp the tires, constantly in the wrong gear (they are too ******* close) and the clutch is so stiff my knee is killing me by the time I get out of the car.

All that said, I only drive it about once a month to keep everything rotated and circulated and it stays under the cover.

We finally had a sunny day today and there is minimal traffic on Sundays so I figured today was the day.

The ******* battery is beyond DEAD!! Keep in mind, I do start it almost weekly and the car only has 12k miles. Really expected the battery to hold up longer, I'm ready to trade it in on a 2011 GT and surprise him but he would be pissed if I got an auto.

So now I have to go get a new battery and wait for another sunny day to change it out. That won't happen any time soon, we are officially in "gray" season.

Just sucks big dead bears!!!

Have a nice day.

I could change out the battery and take it for a test drive for ya, no problem. That is if you buy me a two way ticket.

There is such a thing as a man-car. My wife won't even attempt to get into mine. It's too hard to get out of. You sorta have to fall out (literally) and she hates that. Think how lucky you are that you can enter and exit it.

Both my cars are stick and I love it. My wife can drive stick, started out driving that way, but she doesn't really like to anymore. Works for me cause then she doesn't ask to drive my cars.haha She hates the mustang though/

That's a whole lot of stress!!

After I talked with the old man, we've decided to just put it up on blocks for the winter. Especially since I barely drive mine in the winter, I can't imagine trying to manuever his car.

Thanks for the offers to help drive it but I would hate to think what would happen if I wrecked it and I sleep with him.

Soooooo it's blocks for the Shelby.
